Even if the consumer doesn’t use the I-fit system, there are still a number of other programs available for them to use: distance, heart rate, fat burning, and timed workouts as well. Although these programs are just average programs, the consumer will still be able to achieve more than just the I-fit system or simple old manual settings.
However, there is a downside to the HealthRiderR60’s large running surface: there is no big motor to go with it! Another drawback is the warranty. For the price of fifteen hundred dollars, the guarantee that HealthRider offers is definitely not what consumers expect. As a result, they look elsewhere, particularly high-end machines.
Another drawback for the HealthRiderR60 is the console: it is very outdated. Who wants to buy a machine that looks like it’s from the 80s? I do not. Considering that the I-fit system is in the machine, it seems like a pretty simple concept that an updated console would have been a fairly easy thing to do for a machine of this price.
It’s okay to walk, forget about serious running
Aside from the great features that this machine has, this machine is really a bit boring. Yes, it is good to walk. If you are satisfied with a less than ten percent incline and a large belt, this machine is for you.
However, this machine is not for those consumers who want to run well at high speeds, the engine will not drive it and it will do so without problems.
Still, I will recommend the HealthRider R60 for those who want a machine that is in the middle of the price range and want to get involved with the I-fit system.
