How to Record Xbox Gameplay Without Modifying Your System

So you’re sick of spending money and want to learn how to record Xbox gameplay by yourself. The problem here is that all games now come with this special code that prevents people from making copies. However, the good thing is that there are ways around this. Basically, you have two options when it comes to recording Xbox gameplay and I’ll discuss them below. Just make sure you have a legal copy of the game you are burning or it will be considered piracy.

The first option you have is to get a mod chip and modify your system. While this works great, the problem is that you need to open your console to install the chip and this voids your warranty. Should something happen to your Xbox in the future, it’s always good to have that warranty in place so you don’t spend hundreds of dollars on a new system. In addition to voiding your warranty, you’ll need some technical expertise to properly mod an Xbox and figure out how to record Xbox gameplay for it. Not everyone will be able to do it and you risk messing up your system in the process.

The other option you have is to get a good game copy program for your computer that breaks the built-in protection on all discs. This is the option I would choose because it’s so much easier than playing with modded chips and it doesn’t void your warranty as you don’t need to open your system at all.

I thought the same thing when I first heard about these programs, but was really surprised when I found one for less than $30. That’s half the price of a new Xbox game and you can use the program over and over again to make copies of as many games as you want. Again, this method is for copying games you already own. If you make illegal copies, it is at your own risk and I do not encourage you.

You also could not be happy with the results and quality that this software produced. Burned copies of the games look and play just like the originals. Now that I know how to record Xbox gameplay, I’m saving a lot of money.
