A man whose spouse has died is a widower. Widower is a person who has survived the woman he was married to at the time of his death. Widowers can have a deep sense of loss of someone who kept them organized and whole. The premature death of the wife causes the loss of the main source of protection, support and comfort in the life of the widower.
The widower may experience a variety of emotions, such as anger, numbness, denial and deep sadness, shock (if the wife’s death is sudden and unexpected), along with many physical problems.

2nd house:

- Venus and the weakened Moon placed in the 4th house, indicates the premature death of the wife.
- Venus postulated in double sign, 7th house afflicted by malefics, the native has to bear the pain that arises from the death of the wife.
- Sun / Venus in fourth place, afflicted by malefic.
