The Covid-19 pandemic is showing its aggression on a daily basis, more victims, more victims, more deaths and more fear globally. The spread rate multiplies every day, even the number of deaths increases, but some nations have to hide the real numbers of deceased people, the purpose of this writing is to identify why that tool as the main indicator is not correctly mentioned in the world.
There can be many reasons for this, what I have observed are the following.
Economical crisis:
The current war is just to get stronger economically and unfortunately this pandemic disease starts in China and first reaches strong countries like USA, UK, Spain and European countries, they have a solid health system but this crisis has blocked them and it has stopped for weeks, those who were having strong economic growth, their systems are also shaking and it is shrinking.
They have a large number of deaths, to control and stabilize economic crises and to reduce people’s fear of the crown, they show a lower number of deaths and increase the number of people recovered, but do you think it is justified to hide the real number ? Hiding facts should never be so cool and ethically considerate.
Health Care System:
Many of the Hospitals and the health system are not trained or built to handle sick and coronoid patients, for fear of spreading to their system and affecting others, those that can accommodate sick patients have fewer resources because they need an isolation area to separate them. from another that requires a huge place, temporary hospitals built, town halls and other areas become hospital facilities, which is not enough to serve a large number.
PPE of personal protective equipment:
Healthcare workers have the biggest problem with having PPE, mask and disinfectant, glasses, isolation equipment, and other PPE. Production is the biggest problem, every country needs them, demand is very high against productivity, most countries, flight operations are also paralyzed to minimize spread, this PPE issue is also a fear for doctors, nurses and other paramedics. to work in the healthcare system, as this deadly disease already affects healthcare workers and has eaten many lives of healthcare heroes. We need to continue to provide PPE to our healthcare heroes so they can fight this pandemic disease.
But the question that revolves in my mind is that if there are patients with positive covid19 and the isolation has not yet been completed, those patients who are at high risk can contract the disease from the community.
Based on the facts and figures showing that the danger is not yet complete, it is still in our community. If we take it seriously, we will win, otherwise we would have to lose HOPE.
