Certainly, there is something relaxing about watching a monster JCB machine demolish a structure, excavate a road, or perform other heavy tasks in a jiffy.
But five million views for those videos? Do people really have that much free time? And this is exactly what led to a series of memes, funny videos, and other content on social media platforms.
Learning from the viral sensation
So what can your YouTube account or Instagram page learn from this recent viral sensation? First of all, numbers matter. It might be cool to say that the number of views or likes on your page doesn’t matter, but the truth is that numbers do matter.
Do you really think that all the viewers of the JCB videos watched them for entertainment? After the first million, viewers probably clicked on the videos only to find out the reason behind the million views.
So just like the proverb about goodness begetting more goodness, views and likes on social media generate more and more views and likes, and that’s the real truth.

People just looked at the numbers and the opinions kept coming. There is no doubt that some of these videos are really interesting. However, one must wonder if these videos really deserve more views than the population of more than a hundred countries in the world.
