Lonavala is the most sought after monsoon picnic spot in Mumbaikars and Puneits. This city is located at a height of 620 meters above sea level. It is two and a half hours from Mumbai and one hour from Pune.

It takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Lonavala by local trains from Pune. There are also 2 movie theaters here. Places worth seeing here include Nagpani, Bhushi Dam, Duke’s Nose, Kune Point, Rajmachi Point, Rye-wood Park, Khandala Dari, Tungarli Lake, Tiger’s Leap, Yoga Institute, Valvan Dam, Bhusir Lake, Ghambirnath Caves, and INS Shivaji, which is at the Navy Tranning Center.

There are beautiful landscapes that are worthless in Lonavala. First, there is the King Wood Park. It is located very close to the station of the city of Lonavala.
