The weather in the Bahamas is predictable in the fall, when the islands typically get a lot of rain, but that doesn’t stop Caribbean tourists from getting there.
The islands are the most popular tourist destination in the region, mainly due to the large number of cruise ship visits that embark from various US ports along the Gulf of Mexico and the east coast.

Rainfall is only 1.9 inches a month from December through March.
Best time to go to the Bahamas
The best time to go to the Bahamas is in late spring due to a combination of warm temperatures and less risk of rain.
Anyone planning to visit the islands and want to enjoy swimming in the ocean should avoid the Bahamian weather from December to March due to the cool weather.
If cool beaches and water are not a problem, winter is a good time to visit due to low chances of rain.
Visitors should also avoid the Bahamian weather from June to October, and especially June and August, due to the rain.
