Have you ever watched late-night comedy shows and thought that the constant barrage of Republicans, Tea Party people, and Donald Trump wasn’t funny anymore? Yeah, me too, and as a right libertarian, I think it’s picky, victimhood, progressive poop. What’s even more interesting is that all of these shows are essentially the same, and they all compete with each other, while all the right-leaning people tune out. From a marketing and branding point of view that just doesn’t make sense, but their ideological bias doesn’t allow them to seek out viewers outside of this neoliberal “hate speech” bubble – no wonder they can’t believe they lost the election – they lived in its own living room echo chamber.

Consider attending the following late-night talk/comedy shows:

Jimmy Kimble
Fallon Jimmy
Stephen Colbert
John Stuart
David Letterman
Ellen Degeneres
John Oliver
james corden

Of course, this does in fact open up a slot for a right-leaning late-night talk show host. Since there aren’t, that means he or she would have 50% of the audience immediately, all those who have turned off the television or are watching movies at night because they can’t stand it when people make fun of them and call them ignorant, stupid, racist, haters or fanatics every night with nausea. Can you imagine the immediate audience numbers?

From a right-leaning point of view, I have to say that today’s late night talk hosts think they are comedians, but I see it as “entertaining hate speech” and I find it quite hypocritical that they condemn a group of people, who tell everyone to be ‘politically correct’ and then make fun of us to the right. I personally find these people sick, pathetic and disgusting, not funny at all. Sure, it used to be funny from time to time, I mean, I can take it a little bit, but on every major TV station, every night, night after night, year after year, no, it’s not funny anymore.

On March 8, 2016, The Washington Post published an article titled; “Late Night Tells 3 Times More Jokes About 2016 Republicans Than Democrats,” by S. Robert Lichter, Stephen J. Farnsworth, and Deanne Canieso. A recent poll at the height of the 2016 election season said it was 8:1 against Republicans. Another survey found that prior to the 2016 election season, 48% of late-night TV audiences identified as Democrats and 17% as Republicans. There is an obvious trend here.

Let’s say you have 4 shows every night and there’s an audience of 40 million people, or let’s say an average of 10 million viewers for each show, yet we know there are 40 million Americans who feel alienated by late night talk. show hosts just tired of being called stupid and probably voted for Donald Trump and would see if there was a show that had a balanced critique and not just politically one-sided like we currently have.

Imagine a late-night talk show with those kinds of ratings — it’d be all in if it was FOX, and there’s a fortune to be made. Perhaps someone will see this opportunity in our nation’s psyche, just as Trump saw an opening for his brand of politics? Think about this.
